As with all cruises offered by Disney, you have the choices for adding lots of exciting options to your vacation from pre-cruise lodging to post-cruise theme park adventures. I never take this part of the planning process lightly as the magnitude of choices is so large is really takes some time and diligence to make the final decisions and settle in on one vacation package for the family.
No matter what choices you make on pre and/or post cruise activities, it is to include a visit to Disney World then transportation between Orlando and Port Canaveral will be necessary. Renting a car is possible but we have found that the shuttle service offered by Disney is far and above the best and least taxing of all options available to you.
